Catering in any form is generally accepted as a High Risk Activity due to the large number of people provided for. NCASS strives to promote and improve standards within the industry through clear and informative guidance and training.
This document aims at providing general guidance, and basic standards for caterers operating from fixed premises such as restaurants, cafes, takeaways, fish and chip shops, buffet and hospitality caterers.

This document aims at providing general guidance, and basic standards for caterers operating from fixed premises such as restaurants, cafes, take away, fish and chip shops, buffet and hospitality caterers.

The general principles can be applied to both caterers themselves and those wishing to employ their services.

The Code is a voluntarily accepted document, and is based on ‘good practice’ and current legislation.
