This Code of practice is intended as a voluntary guideline for the design and manufacture of mobile catering vehicles, van conversions, and the installation of equipment and services.The purpose of the guide is to set down a minimum standard of design & manufacture in order to protect the purchasers of such units and to eliminate poor quality design and build from the industry.
The Code is also the minimum standard by which a supplier can becme an NCASS 'Authorised Trailer / Equipment Manufacturer'.
