This level 3 food hygiene course will leave you fully informed on the potential hazards within a catering environment and in the know on how to tackle any issues that should arise. With an NCASS level 3 certificate, you will feel in control and confident about your role and its impact on the wider team.

This course covers a wide range of topics including food hygiene, food poisoning, legislation, applying and monitoring best practice, temperature control, equipment, waste disposal, cleaning, pest control, personal hygiene, allergen management and more.

Course details

Aim of the level 3 food hygiene course

To develop advanced knowledge of the principles of food hygiene and to equip supervisors and mangers to the nationally-required safety level.

Assessment criteria

60 multiple choice questions on a 90 minute timer. The pass mark is 45/60 (75%). Remember, there’s no limit on re-takes for our level 3 hygiene test.

Course delivery method

The course is delivered online via our custom-built training system. An internet connection is required for all NCASS Training courses and you can train on laptops, tablets and phones.
