Step 1: Log into your control panel.
Log into your NCASS Control Panel here: https://controlpanel.ncass.org.uk/
If this is the first time you have logged into your control panel you will need to complete the ‘5 steps’ before you can continue.
Once logged on you are at the Control Panel Homepage.
Step 2: Locate your Accreditation Tracker page.
Find and click on this banner at the top of the page.
You are now at the Covid-19 Tracker Page. This page will show you what is required to complete for your certification.
As you can see there are 3 documents and the training course that needs to be completed for the accreditation.
All 4 steps will need to be completed before the Certificate and Promo Assets will be available to download and/or print.
It’s quite simple…if you have completed the requirement, there will be a green tick next to it.
Let’s start with the 3 documents needed for certification. (We’ll cover the training course next…please skip along if you have already completed and uploaded your documents and have a green tick next to them)
Step 3: Downloading the Documents.
If you have a green tick next to the document name this indicates you have already completed and uploaded the document to your NCASS Control Panel.
Download all the documents you need using the links next to the document name.
The page you are directed to will have help and guidance on how to fill in these documents and a download button.
Save them to your computer or tablet.
Step 4: Complete the documents
Now you have all your documents downloaded and saved, it’s time to complete them. Once you have completed and saved your documents, we’ll move onto uploading them back to your NCASS Control Panel.
Step 5: Uploading your Documents.
Go back in to your Control Panel. https://controlpanel.ncass.org.uk/
You are back at the Control Panel Homepage.
Find and click the ‘Company Documents’ button on the right-hand side of the page.
You are now on the company documents page.
Here you can view and upload any documents associated with your company.
We need to upload the documents you have just completed for your Covid-19 certification.
Here under ‘Optional Documents’ you will find the orange ‘upload’ button to upload each of your completed documents.
Click the orange upload button corresponding to each document and follow the instructions on screen to upload it.
Now you have uploaded all your documents required for Covid-19 certification, if you check back to your tracker page you will now see you have the green ticks next to each document.
Now you have successfully uploaded your documents we can move on to the second part of the accreditation scheme, the online training course.
Step 6: Navigate to the Training page on the Control Panel
Click on the Training Icon in the menu on the right-hand side of the screen.
You are now on the training screen.
You, as the business owner must complete the training.
This is an online course similar to our Level 1,2 and 3 Hygiene courses you may be familiar with.
Allocating the Covid-19 Safety Course
To assign the course to yourself use the ‘Trainees List’ drop down menu to select your name and the ‘Courses’ drop down menu to select the Covid-19 Safety Course.
Click the Proceed button and then the Purchase button.

The Covid-19 Safety Course will be added to your NCASS Training account.
If you do not already have an NCASS Training Account you will need to create one using the blue ‘create new trainee’ button.
Fill out your details in the fields provided.
*YOU MUST USE THE SAME EMAIL ADDRESS AS YOUR NCASS ACCOUNT*
You will get an email with your Username & Password. Once you click the Save button.
Follow the link in the email to log in to your NCASS Training Account.
Step 7: Complete the Training Course
Now the course has been allocated to your NCASS Training account you must complete it on the NCASS Training website.
There’s a short test at the end of the course and the pass mark is 80%. Remember, there are no limits on re-takes.
Once the trainng course has been completed and the test passed the system will automatically update the Covid-19 Certification Tracker and add your certificate to the ‘Company Documents’ area on your Control Panel.
Step 7: Downloading your certificate and promo assets
Return to your NCASS Control Panel here: https://controlpanel.ncass.org.uk/ and click on the Covid-19 banner at the top of the homepage to return to the Covid-19 Certification Tracker page.
Now you have completed all the elements to the NCASS Covid-19 Certification Scheme you will see all the 4 ticks on the progress tracker.
Before you can click the ‘Apply for Certification’ button you must first select a name from the drop down list. (This name will appear on the certificate and can only be done ONCE.)
Now press the green ‘Apply for Certificate’ button to generate your certificate.
This .pdf file will open in a new window.
You can then save it to your computer and we recommend printing it and displaying it in clear view for the public to show that your business is taking the necessary measures to help safeguard against COVID-19 transmission.
Once your certificate has been generated you will then notice the promo assets appear at the bottom of the page (you may need to re-fresh the page if they do not show up straight away.)
These assets are pre-set sizes for various social media platforms.
Again we recommend posting these to your social media or website to show that you are working to best practices and to build customer confidence.
Thank you for taking the time to complete your Covid-19 Safety Certification.
Please contact your NCASS account manager if you have any questions or queries.
