Industry Engagement Manager

We’re hiring: Industry Engagement Manager
Reporting to the CEO | Hospitality & Events

This is a high-impact, highly visible role for someone who lives and breathes hospitality and knows how to build influence.

As Industry Engagement Manager, you’ll be the outward-facing connector for Nationwide Caterers Association (NCASS) strengthening our profile, representing members, managing PR activity, and building powerful relationships across hospitality and events. You’ll work closely with the CEO and Public Affairs, spot opportunities for collaboration and funding, and ensure NCASS is a trusted, authoritative voice for independent hospitality.

You’ll be:

  • Representing NCASS at industry events, panels and forums
  • Building relationships with sector bodies, media and partners
  • Managing PR, media engagement and thought leadership
  • Bringing back insight that shapes strategy and policy
  • Supporting strategic projects, campaigns and funding opportunities

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in hospitality, events, communications or associations
  • Is confident externally, highly organised and commercially minded
  • Writes brilliantly, builds trust easily and thrives on variety
  • Cares deeply about supporting independent hospitality businesses

Account managers & Sales Executives

About the Roles

We are currently seeking talented individuals to join the NCASS team in two key roles: Member Retention – Account Manager and Sales Executive (New Membership). There will be a 3-month training programme for both roles.

Member Retention – Account Manager

The primary function of this role is to engage with existing members to increase retention and support the overall growth goals of NCASS. Company bonus eligibility based on achievements and objectives of NCASS (Paid annually).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain engagement to deliver high-level satisfaction
  • Provide support to ensure that each member utilizes the membership fully
  • Offer guidance on products, services, and partnership opportunities
  • Speedy resolution for member queries
  • Positively promote NCASS products and services
  • Work with existing and prospective members to develop plans for their business
  • Ensure information alignment across NCASS systems

 

Sales Executive (New Membership)

This role actively secures new members through selling strategies, working with all departments to achieve company goals, including total membership growth. Sales bonus potential (up to 20% salary based on sales targets) – paid annually. We are looking for individuals that have the skill and desire to close sales. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new sales opportunities using warm leads
  • Identify potential sales opportunities for new membership growth
  • Provide proactive advice on NCASS products and services
  • Build strong relationships between NCASS and prospective members
  • Positively promote NCASS offerings and products
  • Work with prospective members to support their business
  • Align information across NCASS systems
