Horsebox

Beautifully converted Rice Richardson 1980's Horsebox, trading as 'The Olde Horsebox' for the past 3 years. We have built up a great reputation with event organisers and customers. The asking price is therefore reflective of the fact that we are not only selling the trailer, but a fantastic business too. Prior to the pandemic, we had a number of events verbally secured and would be happy to pass details on to the purchaser. The trailer is a real head turner and we regularly receive complements about it. Professionally converted to a high standard whilst retaining some original features, including stable style rear doors and ‘Rice’ badges. The conversion included a full external re-spray, re-wiring of external lighting, 5 new tyres, new hatches with hydraulic hinges, double locks on all entry points and new jockey wheel. The floor was removed and replaced with aluminium. The trailer has fully working electrics, internal lighting encased in copper conduit, a double sink, electric powered hot water tap, accessible/useful shelving throughout and solid wood work tops, which have been treated with food safe varnish. A full list of items included with the sale is detailed below but includes a Fracino two group coffee machine, grinder and Burco gas water heater. The trailer has been serviced each year (last in 2019). The gas certificate expires in February 2021 and we have a local engineer who can complete the next certification if required. This in itself is of great benefit, as we initially struggled to find an engineer who was able to certify mobile catering trailers. The coffee machine has been serviced regularly and was last serviced in July 2020. We have been operating as a coffee, cake and milkshake business, but this could be adapted to suite the buyer.
