Scotland: Second consultation on Impact of Covid-19 on Event Industry

A second online survey of the event industry supply chain has launched to gather further vital information on the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on the businesses working in the sector.

The first survey of the industry supply chain was carried out in June and the results published in July provided vital information that was shared with the Scottish Government and the Event Industry Advisory Group to help inform recovery plans to date.

Since the last survey was conducted a lot has happened and it is now appropriate to re-run the survey to gather up-to-date evidence on the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on the sector so we can continue to accurately inform the measures required to ensure Scotland’s events industry survives.

Paul Bush OBE, Director of Events, said: “The ongoing restrictions in place to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 continue to impact upon Scotland’s events industry. We are once again keen to hear from businesses involved in the supply chain to understand these ongoing impacts to ensure the necessary measures are put in place to support the industry.”

The survey will close at midnight on 15th December.
