The Nominations for the 2025 Food & Farming Awards are now open

The Food & Farming Awards is returning for its 25th year.

You can nominate yourself or the organisation or company you work for. However, you will need to state if you are nominating your own business. Previous winners are eligible to be nominated again for the 2025 Awards.

You have until 30th June to nominate your favourites.

The Food Programme Best Food Producer

We want you to nominate producers dedicating their lives to food, whether it’s cheese, ham, butter, condiments or cakes – tell us about the people enriching lives and economies with delicious products.

Best Drinks Producer

From pioneering brewers and cider makers to traditional distillers, wine or juice producers, we want you to tell us about the latest ideas in the drinks world, as well as the producers keeping great traditions alive.

The Morning Live Best Streetfood, Takeaway and Small Eatery Award

From fish and chips to pizza fresh from the oven, from handmade bao buns to cupcakes on demand – we want to hear about the exceptional people doing things differently.

Digital Creator Award

We want to know who is having an impact in food, farming and the environment on social media and online.

Farming for the Future with The Archers and BBC Radio 4’s Farming Today

Tell us about farmers who are embracing new growing solutions to benefit the environment, pioneering innovative tech to improve animal welfare, exploring new ways to make good food accessible, and developing sustainable strategies to inspire the next generation of farmers.

Food Innovation Award

This Award celebrates businesses, organisations and people working to make a difference – tell us about the ideas, initiatives and innovations that are going to change the future of our food.

Countryfile Young Countryside Champion

Countryfile wants to celebrate young countryside champions aged between 16-24 across the UK – from farmers, naturalists or eco-warriors, tell us about the young people making a difference.

Derek Cooper Outstanding Achievement Award

Named after The Food Programme’s first presenter, this award is for the individual or organisation whose work has brought about real change in our relationship with food. This award is voted for by our judges and not open to public nominations.
