Our core services

ASSIST – Financial Hardship Services

We understand that financial hardship can have a profound impact on mental health and overall wellbeing. It can place immense stress on individuals, strain personal relationships, and make everyday life feel overwhelming—especially when dealing with debt or the inability to cover basic living costs.

The Drinks Trust are here to support. If you or a colleague are facing financial challenges, we can offer direct assistance through a range of practical solutions. Emergency grants help cover urgent expenses, essential household appliances like white goods, and retailer vouchers to help with the cost of everyday necessities.

If you need a little extra help getting back on your feet, we’re committed to offering the support you need—compassionately and confidentially.

DEVELOP – Educational & Training Services

DEVELOP provides training resources, free workshops, WSET bursaries, and access to fully funded training with internationally recognised providers. DEVELOP also works with unemployed individuals to help nurture the skills necessary to make their first steps into a new and rewarding role in the drinks hospitality sector.

The Programme is split into distinctive functions:

  1. 1. Open access, free online learning – available in multiple languages
  2. 2. Bursaries for full cost of training with recognised providers such as WSET and IBD
  3. 3. The Drinks Trust exclusive subject-specific workshops and specialist brand masterclasses
  4. 4. Employment support for unemployed individuals
