The winners of the Welsh Street Food Awards have been announced after a weekend of traders showcasing their culinary talent to the good people of Cardiff.
Keralan Karavan were voted Judge’s Choice champion, whilst Janet’s Authentic Northern Chinese Restaurant took the title of People’s Choice.
Landing a close second, Hot Damn were a hit with the crowd and Tukka Tuk Indian Streetfood were praised for their menu on the day.
Both the People’s Choice and Judges Award winners will now go forward to the grand final of the competition at FreedomFest in September.
The next stage of the competition will take place at Chow Dow in Leeds and Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth, with Chris Kamara and Rate my Takeaway set to join the judging panel.
