Natasha’s law is an amendment to the laws on food labelling (The Food Information Regulations). Natasha’s law changes the labelling rules for food and drinks that are packed and sold to the final consumer from the same premises (PPDS products).

We’re working with the FSA to make this as simple as possible for you and are here to help you prepare for the upcoming changes, which come in to force from 1st October.

This change requires that PPDS products (both food and drinks), sold in England. Wales and Northern Ireland, are labelled with:

  • The name of the food and
  • A full ingredients list, with allergenic ingredients emphasised e.g., in bold, in italics, in colour etc.
