Would you like the certainty that comes with the correct knowledge, to support compliance interventions, event safety work and to help businesses trade safely?  This could be key to public safety and driving up the standards of local traders, events, and festivals.

More needs to be done to raise the standards of mobile LPG and ultimately ensure the safety of the industry for all those involved in it.  When it comes to LPG, we all have a collective responsibility to keep things safe and uphold standards to promote best practice and safeguard the sector.

We believe that education is key when it comes to LPG safety.   So, we have brought together our expertise on mobile LPG along with our insight on the mobile catering and street food sectors to create a training package suitable for Environmental Health Professionals.

The LPG Safety training package for Environmental Health Professionals includes the following:

A dedicated online LPG safety workshop and the ‘Safe Use of LPG in Mobile and Outdoor Catering’ training course.

The dedicated online LPG safety workshop for environmental health professionals outlines real life scenarios, common problems, and enforcement scenarios. This will be delivered by the NCASS Gas Safety Consultant, a qualified LPG engineer with extensive experience in the trade, who has seen it all when it comes to mobile LPG. Certification for a minimum of 4 hours CPD will be awarded upon completion.

Topics covered include:

  • The recognised six safe gas set ups in mobile catering
  • The identification of good and bad LPG practices
  • LPG in Bricks and mortar premises
  • Bulk cylinder storage
  • Highest risk LPG appliances
