British Street Food Awards 2020 applications now open

We’re thrilled to announce that applications for the 2020 British Street Food Awards (BSFA) sponsored by Hellmann’s are now open!

Now in it’s 11th year, the BSFA have recognised and celebrated some of the finest talent in the world of street world, with previous winners including Wingmans, Baked in Brick, MEATliquor, Jah Jyot and Doh’ Hut.

How to apply

Regional heats will be taking place in five locations across England, Wales and Scotland, before each finalist competes for the ultimate winning title of British Street Food Champion at Hawker House in London on 16th and 17th October.

To apply, look at the dates below and email the team at [email protected] with details of where you want to compete, along with a sample of your best pictures, a few paragraphs on who you are, what you do, when/where you do it and why. The deadline date is 19th August 2020.

If you win your heat (there is a people’s vote and a judges’ vote, plus wild cards for traders) you will go straight through to the London finals in October. So make 100% certain you’re available.

British Street Food Awards (South heat) 19/20 September – Blue Collar Street Food, Reading

Welsh Street Food Awards 26/27 September – Street Food Circus, Cardiff

British Street Food Awards (Northern heat) 2/3 October – Grub, Manchester

Scottish Street Food Awards 9/10/11 October – The Pitt, Edinburgh

British Street Food Awards Grand Final 16/17 October – Hawker House, London
