Meet The Team: Annie

Here at NCASS, there’s a passionate team working behind the scenes every day to make sure members get the most out of their membership – and we thought it was about time you got to know them!

Next up we speak to Annie, who’s been a part of the NCASS team for 8 years, working as an Administration Assistant on our Admin Team.

Tell us a little bit about yourself and your role on the team.

I am a fun, happy young lady that greets everyone with a smile! I work as an assistant on the Admin Team at NCASS, making sure our membership packs go out on time.

What does a typical day look like for you?

My typical day is helping to prep for the next day’s Safety Management System packs that go out to new and renewing members. I’ll laminate membership certificates and attach letters and documents. This helps the rest of my team as they’re printing risk assessments to go in the packs. I also laminate and post out training certificates for our completed training courses. I once amazed myself by sending out 150 in one day!

What do you enjoy most about your role?

I love seeing the different names of businesses that come through, searching them on Facebook or Instagram to see the types of food they serve. I enjoy my role as we are the last people at NCASS to see member documents go out, making sure everything looks good and how I would want to receive my documents as if it was my own business.

What’s something you’ve learned since joining the team?

We all work as a team, and we have different roles when completing jobs. Most of all, we all help each other out to get the best end result for our members.

What do you like most about independent hospitality businesses?

The different variety and ranges of food our members provide. There’s so much choice out there and it’s great to see small businesses thrive.

What’s your go-to comfort food?

Greidy’s Wings & Strips. I love my chicken. The sauces, fries and service is always amazing at Greidy’s!

What would you name your food truck or hospitality business?

Annabella Mozzarella’s Place.

What’s a fun fact about you?

I love socialising with friends and family, especially good catch ups over nice food. I have two fur babies called Buzz and Jess- my two cats who are adorable. They love it when I take some of my Greidy’s chicken home as a treat for them! I’m also a huge Harry Potter fan. I’ve seen all the films more than once. I also like doing diamond art when I have some spare time.
