Have your say on the future of nightlife in London.

Our friends at the NTIA have partnered with VibeLab to launch the London Nightlife Taskforce Survey.

London’s nightlife is famous worldwide for being lively, diverse, and always changing. It’s an important part of the city’s culture and economy and a big attraction for both Londoners and visitors. Over 2 million people are out-and-about in London after 9pm and 1.4 million people regularly work at night. But nightlife faces many challenges. That’s why Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, has set up an independent Nightlife Taskforce and appointed VibeLab to carry out research.

The taskforce will engage widely with Londoners, nightlife businesses and others, to  explore the challenges facing nightlife. They will draw on their combined expertise to create a report and recommendations. As a collective voice for London’s nightlife, they will propose actions that the Mayor, councils, nightlife businesses and others can deliver together, to help London’s nightlife thrive.

From April to July 2025 VibeLab will work alongside the Nightlife Taskforce to connect with London’s nightlife communities and businesses, running surveys and hosting a series of engagement events. The final report is expected to be published in October 2025.

This is a chance for workers, creatives, residents, and nightlife lovers to shape the city’s after-dark culture. From transport and safety to space, sound, and sustainability — your voice will inform policies that impact the entire night-time ecosystem.
