NCASS on the road

This week we’ve been at The Event Production Show and at Nisbets Live.

We partnered with The Event Production show and brought two seminar sessions to the show that focused on event and festival catering.

Anna from Happy Maki, Mathew from The Cheese Truck and Brian from Safety Geeks joined Mark & Roxy on a panel to talk about all things event and festivals, how they got into the sector, what this year has on the cards, sharing their experiences and giving practical advice about catering at events.

It was a great panel with many useful insights and thought provoking discussion around bridging the gap between event organisers and caterers. Nick, our MD, chaired a panel on Food Safety and Gas Safety bringing together Tay from our Primary Authority partner The Royal Borough of Greenwich, Simon from Festival Gas and Marc from Gascomm.

Both sessions were very well received and we were proud to be able to raise the profile of our members and the wider sector at an event that is a must for the events industry. We would really recommend that you attend these trade shows, after all you are a key part of the events sector, so if you would like to explore how you can get involved, please drop Roxy a note on [email protected].

As you will know, we are partnered with Nisbets to bring you expertise in catering equipment as well as a great deal for NCASS members. We went to their first in-house exhibition and conference and Nick spoke at the event about all things NCASS, how we support the independent hospitality sector and what’s happening in the industry as a whole.

The event was held at Nisbets NCEC, where you can find all the brands they work with – it’s really worth a visit if you’re buying equipment; you can speak to the experts in each brand and compare equipment all in one place.

If you’re not signed up to the Nisbets deal, you could be missing out on up to 6% cash back  – you can find out more about our partnership here and have a look at Nisbets Live in our Instagram story
