New Look to NCASS Work Opportunities

We’ve given the Work Opportunities section of your NCASS Member Dashboard a fresh new look, making it even easier to find, explore and apply for catering opportunities that could suit your business.

Work Opportunities is a free service for NCASS members and event organisers, designed to help connect catering businesses with events looking for caterers.

With the updated Work Opportunities section, you can search for events using postcode areas and food types, helping you find opportunities that are relevant to where you trade and what you offer.

You can explore opportunities in your local area, or search further afield for events that could be suitable for your business.

You can also make sure your business information is set up to help event organisers find you. By selecting the food types you offer and the postcode areas where you want to receive opportunities, the system can help match you with relevant events.

Get notified when new opportunities come in

If you’ve signed up for Work Opportunities alerts, we’ll send you an SMS text when a suitable opportunity comes through.

The opportunities you receive are based on the information you’ve provided about what you do and where you want to trade. This means you can hear about potential work without having to constantly check for new events.

Apply directly to event organisers

Found an opportunity you’d like to take part in?

You can apply directly through the platform, connecting with the event organiser through NCASS Connect. You can also upload any required documents, helping keep the information you need for applications together in one place.

Event organisers can also invite you to apply by email, with invitations and responses available through your Member Dashboard.

Keep track of your applications

The updated Work Opportunities section also makes it easier to keep track of what you’ve applied for.

You can track the progress of your applications through your Member Dashboard, helping you stay organised as you explore different events and opportunities.

You can also let event organisers know about your requirements, helping provide them with the information they need when considering your application.

Whether you’re looking to pick up extra work, discover new events, reach new customers or grow your catering business, the updated Work Opportunities section gives you a straightforward way to find and apply for events that could work for you.
